Immigration record for Inger Jakobsdotter Eide #16, crossing the Canadian border into the United States.
She left Liverpool, England on May 6, 1910 sailing on the Empress Of Ireland and arrived at the Port of Quebec, Canada on May 13, 1910. She was listed as 23 years old, single, occupation was a servant, was able to read and write, she was a citizen of Norway, of the Norwegian race. Her last residence was at Stavanger , Norway. Her nearest relative was her father, Jakob Eide of Sand, Norway. Her final destination in the United States was to Buxton, North Dakota, in which she had a ticket to this final destination. Her passage was paid by herself. She had on her possesion $60.00. She was never in the United States before. Inger was going to join her friend Martha Olsen in Buxton, Traill County, North Dakota. She was never in a prison, almshouse or supported by charity. Was not a polygamist or anarchist. and was not under contract (express or implied) to labor in the US. Her condition of health, mental and physical were good and she was not deformed or crippled in any way. Her height was 5 feet 8 inches with a fair complexion and having brown hair with blue eyes. She had no marks of identification. Her country of birth was Norway in(near) the town of Sand.

Peter`s Godparents (sponsors) were "snikkar" (carpenter) Ola Tollaksson Landa (Peter`s uncle), "gardbrukar" (farmer) Åsmund Olson Steinnes, "bakar" (baker) Johannes Mehus, "kone" (wife) Karen Steinnes, "pike" (maiden) Sissel søre Vignes & Severine Olsdotter søre Vignes.

His parents were "husmann" (tenant farmer) Gunnar Gunnarsson and Serina (it was written Gurine) Toresdotter.
It gives his small pox vaccination date of July 8, 1888 and vaccinated by G. Rode.
Peter received remarks of "very good" for his religious knowledge and conduct.
