Peter Wignes Baptism 1888 (Official Copy)

This is the baptism record for Peter #4, taken from the Hesby "Official" Church Book. It states the birth and baptismal dates. Peter`s parents :
"husmann" (cotter or tenant farmer) Gunnar Gunnarsson and Serina Toresdotter (the pastor mispelled her name with Gurine), their residence on nore (north) Vignes and their birth years are given. Peter`s Godparents (sponsors) were "snikkar" (carpenter) Ola Tollaksson Landa (Peter`s uncle), "gardbrukar" (farmer) Åsmund Olson Steinnes, "bakar" (baker) Johannes Mehus, "kone" (wife) Karen Steinnes, "pike" (maiden) Sissel søre Vignes & Severine Olsdotter søre Vignes.
